Professor Layton music is synonymous with mystery, so I decided to go check out a playlist from a game I've played a while back. Anyways, I think something similar to this track would fit perfectly in terms of creating a mysterious and eerie air to the 990 dream: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAuCnJ00 ... 7BBB483315.

After all, it's a mysterious dream conversation with a shady old man from the Cold War period! Any feedback? Obviously we can't use this exact track, but someone whose good at making soundtracks and themes could make something similar?

No, I mean, after the chaos insurgency takes him, the knock him out. There he has the dream. I wrote like a big thing on how it'd play out but it's been lost in this thread somewheres. Plus at the end you could hear the chaos guy's say " He's waking up" To imply 990 was visiting him in his dream.

I dunno, it'd seem odd to have it in the end as it would be pointless and the game would essentially be over. Having him in the beginning, rather, would introduce the game well and give you another thing to ponder and be creeped out about as you begin your exploration of the facility.

This idea WAS good, but after seeing a lot of points against it I'm not so sure it would work well. There are definitely other major additions/bugfixes pending that are priorities over this, in my opinion and prolly regalis's as well.

Not that it's a bad SCP or anything, quite the opposite, but he has no place in this game.
I wholeheartedly agree. He's a really cool SCP, but there are a million other additions/bugfixes with which CB would stand better.
