Idea For -106

I've noticed that 106 is a little... simple in the ways he "gets" you. I think a little trap that he lays for you, could go pretty well. I'm just going to call them puddle traps for now.
Anyways, it'd be a black blob/stain on the floor, that looks like his usual black... stuff. If the player were to walk on it, or near it then 106 would pop out of it ( like fast, not like the current slow rise), and chase the player. Now, they'd be easy to avoid, but could still get in the way if you're being chased by a different Skip. I dunno, I just fell that 106's presence could be a little more playful stalkerish. The puddle traps could also be on walls, to avoid wall hugging while the MTF look for you around the corner. Just an idea.

The basic idea sounds interesting but right now I fear that it might get really difficult.
With 106's spawn rate already dramatically increased and only very little room to maneuver in... this kind of thing should only be thought of when the map layout
is getting a bit more.. spacey.
Besides, 106 is already capable of coming out of his black puddles he's leaving all over though he will only emerge slowly as usual.
Larry now is the persistent bastard he was always meant to be, and I think that right now the balance between him and 173 is finally tolerable.

Yeah, that seems annoyingly difficult. To tell you the truth, 106 has devolved from the terrifying stalker he once was to now a merely annoying one (maybe that's just me after getting used to him on several runthroughs). Personally, he shouldn't be an overactive hyper stalker but a smart one that toys with his prey. He should fully f*ck with you (creepy messages and short sequences and the like) before he actually chases you. Now THAT would be terrifying.

I totally agree with that. 106 is a sadistic bastard who enjoys tormenting his potential victims... so additional psychological terror would make Larry my new nightmare.

I agree. 106 is fucking terrifying in early playthroughs, but after a while he's just an annoyance popping up at the worst times to drag you away. He needs a serious overhaul to make him the proper sadistic bastard he's supposed to be, to keep him fresh throughout the playthroughs.

I think getting out of the Pocket Dimension should be a lot harder than it is. There been no one who has escaped out of the Pocket Dimension.
And then a random Class-D getting out of it with ease... i don't know, just sounds a little weird to me.
Plus, (i don't know if it's only for me) when 106 appears out of the ceiling, he seems to "spazz" and i find it more weird and confusing rather than scary.

According to the tale "Treats", one of MTFs say that there is the possibility for escape from the Pocket Dimension. Just, very rarely.
He breathed slow, deeply, remembering the file, the brief. Time was subjective, he could have been out for seconds or weeks. It liked to play cat and mouse, tracking through its…home, or playroom, or whatever the fuck it was. Space was endless, but sometimes people got out, or were released.

I agree that the pocket dimension could use a bit more work. But I disagree with making it harder to escape from. 106 seems to be very persistent and on your ass in this game, so making his pocket dimension more difficult would really make him more annoying than scary.

Yeah, the pocket dimension is already effing hard to get out of without dying (ahem blocks). If anything, any change to the pocket dimension should be aesthetic (psychologically scary/more :106: shit)

Possibly distorted " Faces " in the Walls and " Hands " sticking out of them or from Holes.

Maybe the Circular Platform could have a vague outline of 106's Face from the SCP Article.
