Im alive, but busy (As always). I see thats a great responslibility to run project like this... I know you all would like to see mod released, beleieve me, I'd also love to. Please understand I have some other jobs/projects... Sorry for that.
Can't really estimate. I promise I will spend more time working on it. Sorry again.
Re: Multiplayer mod?
#202no need to apologize. everyone is just excited for this mod because a mod like this hasn't been created yet, and the fact that people would love to get scared with their friends. also a suggestion: how about some quick group creation option for it. you know, when someone doesn't have any friends that have time to play with them or something, and a person wants to do multiplayer and not care who gets picked with him/her or something like that. just a suggestion.ShadowZ wrote:Im alive, but busy (As always). Re: Multiplayer mod?
#203Oh, Shadow if you need help setting up a master server list, I can set up one.
Also, will there be Voice-chat?

Re: Multiplayer mod?
#204That's the very reason as of why we didn't want to have multiplayer. But hey, we're making it happen.lololord wrote:Well hopefully it would transport both, Especially if you are both smart enough too travel together.CommanderPro100 wrote:What would happen when 106 captures one of you? Would both players be transported to the Pocket Dimension or would only one?
Also, wouldn't having 2 players make it easier too find a strategy to escape SCP-173?

Re: Multiplayer mod?
#205I agree, multiplayer in SCP would completely ruin the mechanics of the game as well as take away from some of the horror. It would probably make more sense to screenshare and chat with friends, but hey I'd still be interested to see what a multiplayer mod looks like

Re: Multiplayer mod?
#207But you could add more rooms, scp's and events that could be designed around the co-op experience.scpharrisee wrote:I agree, multiplayer in SCP would completely ruin the mechanics of the game as well as take away from some of the horror. Kinda like portal 2 whereas there is a normal single player campaign and a co-op campaign.

#208It's a case of "if you don't like it, don't download it."scpharrisee wrote:I agree, multiplayer in SCP would completely ruin the mechanics of the game as well as take away from some of the horror. That's what I like about mods

Re: Multiplayer mod?
#209I would assume not. But what I would like to see is when both players acquire a Radio Transceiver, they can type to each other. They should also be able to type to "talk" to each other when in close proximity, and shout for longer ranges (at the cost of MTFs or SCPs becoming aware of them) regardless of if they have one or not.mrpeanut188 wrote:Oh, Shadow if you need help setting up a master server list, I can set up one.

Re: Multiplayer mod?
#210Yes, the mechanics would apply for voice chatting. The farther away you are, the lower your sound gets. I do like the aware idea, it'd certainly make communication dangerous. If two people looked away, thinking the other would get 173, then dead. Then need to communicate, make it their downfall.AnonyMouse wrote: I would assume not.
