Why is it that people keep making these topics? It brings nothing but off-topic comments, and little discussion regarding the original post.

I've always wanted to do that, but I come up a few forums short just because I run out of good posts to contribute. You know, I'm more about quality than quantity (sometimes).

Yeah, if you are not going to contribute in any way, then don't just post for the sake of it. Seriously, maxing out your post number does nothing, and neither does "taking over the forums".

It was fun the first time, but after five of these things, it is just tedious.

It's sad; some newbies on the site log hours into a single inspired post that barely gets read, while others troll multiple discussions with worthless posts just to have their name advertised. I personally try to read everything, but I am pretty good at filtering out crap
