I like the surveillance room idea, and as I stated before I think it could be used for a lot more than just seeing 096 walking around.

There is no way in hell the Foundation would keep a photo of 096, no matter how much security there was. What on earth would be the point, because anyone who sees the photo would die. It's like having a box full of anthrax with a security clearance to open - no one would ever open it.

The whole purpose of tests are for information and results, what makes the SCP's tick. The point of keeping the photo is not only for information but something that they could test or experiment with in the future. Also, as the wiki even states the scientist are not heartless beings void of emotion. They wouldn't waste another life just to get another photo for experiment purposes. This isn't limited to foundation scientists, scientists in general would not just throw away results or information like that, especially something that can be further tested. continued..

As for your it's too dangerous claim, nobody would open it " it's like having a box of anthrax." etc. Did you forget what facility we are talking about here? The same place that keeps things like SCP 008, 682, and 106 in cages under the same roof? And you're getting bent out of shape over a photo? Lol.

I see your point, but why would they continue testing it if they already know the results? The bad (096 photo escaping or someone seeing it and pissing him off) far outweighs the good (testing even though they already know the results). Anyways, it would just be a cheap scare that kills you and you would have no way of knowing or escaping. As stated before, the player would also know to avoid the photo afterwards, making it useless in the game. Remember that this is not the SCP foundation, this is a game. This game wouldn't be the same if EVERYTHING from the Foundation was included. As Regalis and the mods have said, they will not consider SCPs and other canon that does not fit the theme and purposes of CB.

I'm not getting bent out of shape, I'm just saying its a crap idea - which is no insult to you, just the idea. SO no need to feel attacked.

The thing is, 096 has been slated for termination (after it broke out to a highway and destroy a population center), so it comes down to that idea that they wouldn't run the risk of keeping a photo so something like this doesn't happen again. Personally, I agree with not having a photo of 096. At all. He's fucking unstoppable as is, why make him more dangerous?

No insult taken It wasn't my idea to begin with, it was another user's. I was just saying if it ' were ' implemented that's how it would've been to make sense both gameplay and I suppose story wise. Also, I shouldn't have phrased it the way I did with "bent out of shape" I didn't mean for it to be taken the wrong way I just mean you shouldn't complain about a photo being too dangerous with everything else that's in there running a muck

Yeah sorry if I so harshly attacked the idea in the first place, I was just trying to explain how it made no sense implementing it mindlessly. I guess I was frustrated considering I already had to criticize the idea multiple times before. Anyways, it's interesting in itself, but it just wouldn't be a good implementation. But there are cooler (and still deadly) ways 096 can have more roles in the game, I will say that
