I'd recommend you to check it out now - it has been worked on and being cleaned up for quite a while (and is constantly being improved!), so I'm sure that it's better than you might expect.
The Wiki still needs some more sprucing up. You've but scrapped the surface so far. The pages, particularly SCP pages, become a mess with people not knowing what goes in trivia, what goes in the in-game section, what goes in the bug/patch updates, or what doesn't belong.

It's nothing against you, but the wiki is still in poor condition. More cleaning up like that, though, will help it.

Something I want to point out, in Update History version of the pages, it's find having noting things like how 106 has new model and path finding, but it's not really necessary to add stuff like: "Fixed the levers and buttons in SCP-106's containment room." and "The lure subject can no longer appear outside 106's cell." That's nothing to do with the SCP.
I'm not here as much right now, mention me on our Discord server if you need anything.

I agree with this - the in-game and trivia sections are kind of... "messed up", so to say. I'll look at them in the following days.

Thanks for pointing this out! :3 I'll go through these now.

Why not contribute yourselves? It'd really help getting this wiki into a proper condition. :3

We've tried, but it seems like every time we clean up an article, it gets shit on within the next few days. The administrators don't even care, they just see it as "more info = better", when in reality it's just filling up the pages with out-dated, made-up, and mostly useless information.

You know... we do care, as this thread proves. And if it wasn't apparent before, now it is with me constantly responding your questions and making changes according to them. You forum regulars clearly seem to know what you're doing, so your contributions to make the wiki proper would be much appreciated.

It still doesn't matter how much we try to fix the wiki's articles, they're going to get re-filled with crap the next day. The main problem with the wiki is the admins, they don't try to remove bad info or ban people who add in crap. (Yet they ban people who remove crap...) A good wiki needs to have admins that are not only actively checking the pages, but also understand the game, and know when certain information is bull. The admins on the wiki lack both these traits

It does matter. Regarding "crap info", most of the info on the SCP pages seem legit to me. Should you notice that something is wrong, just fix it. You're exaggarating the situation heavily. And really, source on being banned because of removing legit information? I can't do anything about these possibly nonexistant problems because you aren't providing proof of it.

Also, you can't blame everything on the admins - in addition to the text above, it's not just admins who can remove made-up information.

Actually, I would like to contribute. Even though there is a lot of bad feeling going around, I can probably help out to clean up the pages. Just give me the call and I'll go do it.

Believe me, I've done that many times and within a few days is re-filled with the same crap.

I'm not asking you to fix the problems, I'm just saying that it's pointless to try to reform pages when it constantly gets re-filled with crap, and the admins don't do shit about it. Also, how exactly do you want me to prove that people have been banned from the wiki for removing crap info, what do you want a video? The first post on this thread is a good example of someone being banned for adding shit, and I seriously doubt Destructoid was lying.

Proof is that this thread even needs to exist. If the admins were doing the job there then there wouldn't be a mess to complain about. How do you suppose they provide you with the proof that they were banned, I think them just saying it is proof enough, as there isn't really any reason to lie. So the administration obviously is to blame, and with them adding back any removals done by banned people, they are essentially the only ones that can remove the information.

It would appear it is obvious who is responsible for all of this. The course of action I suggest: Remove all admins/moderators (except for stellpoint and Regalis, and anybody else that is known to not be part of the problem(but especially get rid of CostaRic if he is still there)) from the wiki before they even know what happened. After that a new generation of moderators would fix the wiki. Whether the plan would fix it or not is unknown, but it would help.
