Discuss the newly released game, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, here.
I would pre-order it, but my mom said I couldn't because of the cost. IT WAS MY FUCKING MONEY. But I ordered it today. Fun wave incoming.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II
#2It does look more interesting than the prior games. Also I do generally like Treyarch far more than Infinity Ward considering that IW have some God Complex going on.
I might consider buying it but $90ish is a bit of money to spend.

#3Seen gameplay. Graphically its the same, but there are some improvements to the campaign, and zombies looks fun.
However, it seems there is only ONE zombie map. For fucks sakes, put at least 5 different ones, its not that hard, but of course, online has about 20 maps. Five bucks they make DLCs with zombie maps for like 20$.

#4Seems like there are four or five different zombie maps from what I have seen, however there is a special game mode where you and your team can take a bus which takes you to the next map in secession. Seems like a cool idea.spartan322 wrote:Seen gameplay. Graphically its the same, but there are some improvements to the campaign, and zombies looks fun.

Of course those DLC's are always a disappointment, I honestly believe you should never fragment the community by forcing players to pay for maps.

#5Exactly what TB said. Also zombies has 5 if you include nuketown.Steelpoint wrote:Seems like there are four or five different zombie maps from what I have seen, however there is a special game mode where you and your team can take a bus which takes you to the next map in secession. The MP looks the same mode-wise, but it has more attachments, but one thing.............WHY NO MORE UNDERSLUNG FLAMER AND GL?!
The sights look nice, but the fact you level up your guns, and then UNLOCK the attachments seems dumb as fuck, the CoD points system worked well and was fair. What if I dont want a holo sight, but want a heat/movement sight instead? Or a select fire attachment over a silencer? Nothing.
The SP looks more weird when you put it against MW3 and the other CoD's because of CHOICES and actually SHOOTING people, pressing a button so that everyone dies because of a signal that 'press Y for doomsday'.

#6Bumping this old thread up and telling y'all that I am installing Black Ops 2 right now.
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II
#7I've got black ops 2 on my xbox 360, I can tell you that although the idea of nuketown zombies was interesting that it doesn't really have any barriers, zombies climb over fences and rocks and even climb up steep hills to enter the map, when the siren goes usually a perk appears on the map, look up towards the nuclear explosion to see where it will land.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops II
#9Well for someone I promised i'd preorder it just to test out the zombies mode, to be honest it can do with a lot of work but they added Tombstone perk machine into Green Run that allows you in co-op zombies if you get downed you can leave a tombstone where you can basically pick up your weapons and perks from before when the other players have finished the round.Awesomeguy147 wrote:How did you get Nuketown in zombies? For me it seems to be easier to play multiplayer (at least so far)

#10I played it. It isn't COD. It's a simulator.
A simulator of pure fun blended into awe and complete satisfaction. I fucking love it.
