lock this thread
Spoiler
As Ketercheat logged onto the forums, his mind was in a daze. There was a thread claiming credit for a new feature in the game that was replied to. Now, the thread served no purpose. No meaning. It wasn't locked. He was joyous. he could type anything he wanted.

It happens all the time. Someone comes up with an idea and later someone else comes up with the same exact idea. It's happened to me a lot. And I've also had a lot of my ideas ripped off by some of these fucking pricks. But I won't cry about it. I'm not a bron- I mean fa- I mean....fuck it never mind. I love you guys.

Regalis wrote:The idea of a map editor has been tossed around since the first versions of SCP-CB (see this for example), and I have no idea who was the first one to mention it...

Yeah I faintly remember reading about the initial idea way back before I joined the forums. Also, people outside the forums (Youtube for example) were throwing new ideas towards Regalis as well on his Youtube Channel.
So tracing them all back calls for some serious detective work. L, where are you... we need you here!!

You deserve recognition in the game's credits if you*

- Made a model / models or have helped to texture or design art for the game.
- Did any voice acting, contributed music or general sound design / ambient sounds that you personally created.
- Helped Regalis with the coding or script design for the game.
- Made a contribution in the form of selfless game related promotion (Lotims, TheVolgun).

Other than this, I really don't see why anybody would agree that you should be given an honourable mention in the credits of the game. Making a game is difficult, as I'm sure you can see. So if you want to be credited, be active and ask what you can do to help improve on what's already in place. Expecting to be given credit due to a single suggestion is frankly, childish.
