With the expection is that, you can't beat it to death, and the pig will eat your giblets :106:
Who said It needs to be in Amnesia? I could create the pig myself, then stick a chainsaw through it and eat its giblets. :096:

You don't seem to understand that playing a game for yourself is much more entertaining. Of course you wouldn't be interested in the game after watching a let's play because you would already know what's going to happen, you wouldn't feel like you were there. You would feel like Mark is there, guiding you along, protecting you from every threat. If you were to play the game on your own, without a let's play to guide you, you would find it a much more entertaining and horrifying experience.

I personally found the game entertaining all the way through, and if a game accomplishes that, then it was successful in what it was trying to do.

There weren't even any horror elements, it was just a puzzle/adventure game

Yes, there were. The introduction of the enemies were horrifying, the sound design was amazingingly scary, and the creepy hallucinations made me question the sanity of Mandus. If you played the game for yourself, you would understand why these elements were scary.

Everyone else here has said that the game isn't as scary as they thought it was, maybe you just scare easy

It is certainly not scarier than The Dark Descent, but it still had some decent scares and I overall enjoyed the game. I never say it's boring, because quite frankly it is not. Once again, if you played if for yourself, you'd be much more entertained.
