Really? From what I recall it had gold colored pages and a brown cover, but then again it's been a while since I watched that episode.

Actually, you're right. It was just Twilight's magic shifting the colour slightly, on the image I was looking at. So it'd need to be gold pages, brown cover.

That was probably me, old TV had some rather off colours, so I made a rough guess when I said red because the cover was too dark to tell properly.

Either you or Spark. Either way, maybe make a crude brown placeholder texture for the book itself, and tint the pages gold. It'd be a start at least. Wouldn't really take too long, like a five or ten minute job. The details could come later.

Pages are likely a parchment style material.

I think so, but I don't have those files.

I don't have 'em either, they're all standard paper appearance in my download folder...
