Testing a new SCP that had shown trans-dimensional teleportation properties in the form of an explosion, Dr. Bright had failed to check the blast resilience of the blast shield guarding the room he stood in. He ordered the class D in the other room to pick up the SCP and drop it, causing it to explode. From previous tests, he knew that anyone within five meters of the object when it exploded, would die, all others were sent to a new dimension. The explosion was enough to shatter the blast shield, leaving Dr. Bright and the two other scientists next to him, exposed to the blast. Glass shards had imbedded themselves within the other two scientists, killing them instantly. Dr. Bright on the other hand was standing behind one of them. This protected his body from all injuries; however, it didn't protect him from the blast.
Dr. Bright had awoken in a very odd place. Looking around, he noticed that there were no humans, but rather ponies walking about the town. Then he came to the realization that he too was a pony. The shock of this realization didn't last long, in fact, he almost immediately set out to learn all he could about this new dimension.
When princess Celestia had learned about this new pony through word of mouth, she sent a royal guard to go and bring him to her. When he arrived, she greeted him and asked his name. Dr. Bright gave her his last name. When Celestia had asked where he was from, he replied with a description of the dimension he'd come from, how some of the political systems worked, and how he was surprised on how well Celestia's system was working. One thing lead to another, eventually leading Bright to explaining his job and the company he worked for. After some conversation over skeptasism, Celestia granted him the right to recreate the SCP Foundation on the condition that the Class D's had become paid employees, rather than unwilling test subjects. Bright didn't like this condition, and he argued that nopony would ever apply for this job. After some aguements were tossed back and forth, a consensus was reached. Ponies could be unwilling test subjects so long as Bright ensured their safety. Bright immediately set to work recreating the Foundation, but when it was done, he felt a new name was in order. Taking what he learned about pony traditions and social psychology, he devised a name for his recreated SCP Foundation. This name is the LTF Foundation, which stands for Love Tolerate and Friendship.
After Discord was re-encased in stone, princess Luna began to feel very upset. Discord was there for her after her parents had died in the war, and seeing him re-encased in stone was too much. She began to react to Celestia with anger and hatred. The Nightmare Forces seeing this, knew it was there chance to take control of Luna again. They filled her mind with horrible thoughts of being alone and an outcast. Eventually, Luna began to believe these thoughts. This left her more angry and insecure than ever before, and allowed the Nightmare Forces to posses her once again. Princess Luna, now Nightmare Moon, flew away from Canterlot as part of her plan of fusing the Elements of Harmony with the respected ponies they are connected to. This allowed her to remain undetected for an easier time performing her fusion spell.
Princess Celestia saw Nightnare Moon fly away, and she immediately called for Twilight and her friends to come to Canterlot. When they arrived, she told them to use the Elements of Harmony on Nightmare Moon, and gave them their respected elements. After a discussion as to what their plan of action was, they decided to split up in the hopes of multiplying their chances of finding her. Celestia gave them each a marble, and explained to them that they can use these to alert each other by stepping on them. Upon stepping on it, each of them will recieve an image of the other five friends, and since sound is also transmitted through these marble, they could tell each other what needs to be said. After recieving these, they set out on their search.
