Searched forum for a while, but couldn't find a good spot for this SCP game concept idea of mine so I'm here. I was inspired by an old 2D adventure game called 1213. Since I noticed somebody mention Doom, I figured, ok at least there's an audience here that still remembers Dos! ( i love the original doom btw)
The Game 1213, is beautifully creepy, uses simple 2D graphics, rather than first person 3D, allows for the imagination to work a little harder. The focus too is on the story and story development, which is the most important factor in all indy games I think.

Anyway, I really feel the world of 1213 and SCP could really connect in this style of game. Essentially the direction of the game could be where you play as a security guard/scientist during a catostrophic breach. Or perhaps you could roleplay as one of the locked up critters that found a fluke in security. I was even inspired enough to conceptualize a level design based on the look and feel of 1213, but with better graphics.

Hey there, welcome to the forums. I think the concept is very nice so far, the image in your post is quite nice, I think it could make for a nice game if that is your general concept alone. If you want to post a thread on it, the ideal subforum would be here, but you don't have enough posts to create a thread as of now, just make over two more posts and you'll be able to create one (bot preventative measure).

Well, of course I do not know for sure, but the first users all joined on November 2nd, so I am left to assume that is when the forums were first opened.
