SCP-640

SCP Nickname: Lucent Beams

Ingame mechanics: This guy could work as a randomly occurring hostile SCP that'll manifest on a wall, perhaps disguising itself as a beam of light, which could be done with some sprites. However, it should only spawn if or after the player has come across it's containment chamber, which is described as:
An ellipsoidal room with a uniformly-reflective interior, such as nickel or chromium plating. The atmosphere in the room must be maintained at a temperature of between 260 and 307 K, at a relative humidity of 50% or less.

The confinement chamber must be equipped with a light-tight airlock fitting equipped with an electronic interlock to prevent both doors from being simultaneously opened. Though SCP-640 is not known to be able to assume a gaseous form, these doors should be airtight and, if possible, watertight to facilitate emergency containment measures.
If it chases you, and comes within close enough contact, it'll give you a light zap, which won't hurt you too much, or kill you instantly, but rather has the damage of a single bullet to your leg. Like 106, you'd have to outrun it for it to lose interest.

Artwork/Models (optional): A screenshot edited to perhaps show how 640 could be waiting for prey in a room.

Guys, I have been updating the front page with all your suggestions (btw, I understand that some of the new people don't understand where these SCPs come from, but invented SCPs confuse me when adding them...) Also Kenneth crooker If you are only going to say "What about MY SCP? SCP-1645. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1645" without giving any sort of information (what I mean is completing the template I posted) I will ignore the suggestion just I also mentioned in the post.

But anyway, moving along, as I was saying, I've started adding your suggestions and improved a bit, now Artwork/Models are posted as links instead of the images themselves, occupying too much space. The other thing is, as I updated I had to remove SCP-2020 and SCP-1162, the longest SCP suggestions, because I had reached the limit, that being 60000 characters. Which means I can no longer update with any other suggestion, as much as I would like. If the limit wouldn't exist I would go and add all the suggestions left. Omniary, maybe you can help me with that :)

Thank you for the suggestion, I did that, though seeing how fast the OP filled up, not sure how much will this one last before I'll need to edit the third as well, until the first page is full. I'd fish there was no such restriction.

SCP 472 The Bloodstone
Ingame mechanics: You can find it in its containment room. If you stay in its presence for too long or if you pick it up and take it with you, it will cause you to hallucinate blood on the walls, a loud heartbeat, and dead bodies, some of which move around and and others may appear suddenly when you blink, behaving similar to hostile SCPs but won't actually hurt you. It will also change the appearance of hostile SCPs to look similar to the halucinated bodies, making it difficult to tell what is real and what isn't. The advantage to doing this is that Hostile SCPs are also affected by it and may become confused when in your presence while you are carrying it. It will also drain your health and sanity, but at a rate that is so slow that it isn't really noticeable, but still enough to kill you if you don't pay attention.

SCP 479 Hallway 4, D-Class Dorms, Site 14
Ingame mechanics: This is just an atmospheric effect. Some of the hallways will have blood appearing on the floor in front of you with a sound similar to rain.

SCP 178 "3-D" Specs
Ingame mechanics: If you put these on you will see strange creatures. They attack you if you touch them, although they are easy to avoid because they usually move away from you if you get too close, although there is a small possibility that one will decide to follow you. If one does follow you, you can stop them by closing a door behind you.

SCP 017 Shadow Person
Ingame mechanic: It has escaped from it's containment chamber and will swallow you if your shadow touches it. It can be difficult to avoid because it moves around erratically. You can use it as a method of getting rid of other hostile SCP, although some of them have a possibility of being able to escape a few minutes after swallowing them. The plague doctor is gone for good if it is caught, the sculpture has a low probability of escape after it is swallowed although it is the most difficult for 017 to catch, making it very risky, and the old man is the most likely to escape, usually within a few minutes. 017 will become more aggressive after it has swallowed a hostile SCP.

SCP 1404 Cereal Bowl
Ingame mechanic: mostly the same as its article. it will exist in the game just to creep you out. I think it would be best if you found it in an unexpected place.

SCP 650 Startling Statue
Ingame mechanic: same as its article. Unexpectedly appearing behind you when you turn around and causing you to jump backwards in fear.
Let's throw everything in and see what happens!

SCP 718 Eyeball
Ingame mechanics: Works very similarly to its article. you can use it as a defence against 173 the sculpture because if it becomes attatched to your body it will remove your need and ability to blink. if it gets out of its containment chamber they will chase you short distances. When instances of 718 explode they injure you, and since they replicate when they explode this can cause a chain reaction.

SCP 1090 Cordless Headphones
Ingame mechanics: make you hear unsettling music and sounds, and impairs your hearing while you wear it. if you wear it for too long the music will continue even after it is removed although your hearing returns mostly back to normal.

SCp 627 Perpetual Circle
Ingame mechanics: Found rolling around in a circle. You can pick it up but it does do anything in game, and will continue rolling if you drop it. This is just meant to be unsettling.
Let's throw everything in and see what happens!
