It uses, to my understanding, many combined animations to allow movement and looking animations at the same time, along with well timed actions like button bushing and level pulling synched up with the item animation. In unreal, the animations can be linked together proceduraly, but in Blitz3D, every animation has to be seperate. It wouldnt work well or look good in game, and would be a pain in the ass anyway.

Which is just as well because Blitz3D can't handle Oculus Rift if I'm not mistaken. And this would be fine as a mod. Having arms in the vanilla game would ruin the immersion for me.

Regalis himself stated that maybe the game will get oculus rift support with some special packages or something. Having arms as a mod or as an option would be the best solution. We have to see if the game will support oculus rift in the future.
