One day during school lunch, a friend of mine came up to me and said, "Dude, I know a game you'd love."
I looked at him and replied, "Okay. What is it?"
"It's called SCP Containment Breach"
"What's it about?" I asked out of curiosity.
"In the game, you're a person who's running away from all these monsters that are contained in this underground facility."
Skeptical that scpcb is a good game I said, "I don't know man. It seems like it would get boring after a while. I mean, is there even some sort of objective?"
"Not yet. But seriously though, you should give it a shot."
"I don't know."
"Just come to the library with me and I'll show you how good it is."
After a moment, I said, "Fine. Let's go." When he turned it on, the first thing I noticed was how bad those two class D's at the beginning looked. I watched him go through the intro, he showed me 173's document, and he ran around the facility for a while. Once he came up to a lockroom2 door, he opened it to find SCP-173 staring him in the face. The both of us jumped
and screamed. In the midst of all the shushing going on after our scream, I thought to myself, "That was so awesome!" Ever since, I was hooked. I had always been intruiged by scary stuff, but I guess I never knew his much I liked it until this.
