Please don't forget that everyone is allowed to create their own take when it comes to Audio ;)
So just because someone "did it first" doesn't mean that no one else is allowed to.

As for the Soundfile.
To me it's just several already finished pieces somehow mixed together. There is no real harmony in there.
You shouldn't just throw random SCP Clips together and hope for the best.

Cridone wrote:I don't think taking away control from the player is a good idea unless necessary. Which IMO, in this event it's not.

It'd be better if the player has control to turn around, not "you didn't read this!! Now I'm going to kill you".
Then how would the scene unfold? Let's say you're outside at Gate C. Surely there would be MTF waiting for you.
So with the report of 096 being out there isn't that much of a choice of what situation could unfold.

1. You turn around, look at 096 and get killed.
2. You keep looking forward but get shot by the guards
3. You look forward but the guards get killed by 096 instead

So all in all there isn't that much freedom in the first place, unless you make the whole Gate C more complicated.

Omniary, that fits. I was referring to the first section of 'Hush', the second part would work well for a chase scene. Think it would be kind of cool to have Gate C be a 'run as far as you can before your die' type of thing. I know it wouldn't exactly be a horror thing, but it would give the player a decision, to run or just stay, they are dead anyways. This might also work well if Regalis decided to make 096 creepier, as he'd be showcased in his full glory.

Why not just put a big horde of MTFs standing in a desert and a few NPCs at gate C. When I was thinking about making Gate C in my mod (tho I wanted GATE A to be C and A to be the 'C', who cares tho), I was thinking about making the player's input blocked and a big metal gate would be sliding upwards. Once the gate has slided 3/4, the class D's eyes adapt to the light (that's when the player can walk) and it reveals that there are 2 MTF squads (consisting of 24 people all together) and the US (it would make sense) army in greater numbers with them. A few APCs would fit there as well. I can do this scene in around 30 minutes if people request it (not on this game tho).

All would fit with this track as well:

Just cut it into a few loop able pieces to make the scripted scene less of a pain to script. :)
