Akatos. I use 3ds max to import this stuff. I comes with the ability to import and export files.
Enma Ai. Kenneth is correct I am using 3ds max 2012
Ok so I am trying another export/import method using this.

It gave me a folder of converted stuff.

You need to import those files into blender.
Another thing regrettably I am not a texture artist and the texture could use some cleaning up. I forgot to link the texture files but here they are.

I could try my luck at animating this thing, but I'm not no where near that level of animation.
