I just had a really great Idea for a new room in the game. Somewhere in the facility is a room where they keep the bodies of people who were killed by SCPs. You can find this room and see bodies killed in various disturbing ways, and perhaps one of them is not quite dead.

Why would the Foundation ever have a room in their facilities dedicated to storing dead bodies, what's the point of that? Wouldn't the best method to get rid of them be incineration?

Edit: Wow, I just realized how stupid that sounded. I forgot that morgues exist.

I was thinking that mainly it would be like a place where they would do autopsies to learn more about exactly how the SCP effected their victims.

Something like that. The foundation does stuff like dissect people, even while they are still alive in order to see what new things they can learn about SCPs all the time. They are not particularly ethical . The have gone so far as to dissect seemingly human babies than an SCP gave birth to. The foundation itself often can be more terrifying than the things they contain. So it makes perfect sense the player would at some point stubble upon the things that show that the foundation is far from being a group of righteous protectors. their goals are noble but the don't let right and wrong get in the way of anything that said goal supposedly justifies
