What if someone made a replica statue of 173 and placed it in their friend's front door when he/she was gone?
Aking myself the same question. Why did they even buy it?_Nightmare_ wrote:What theis Facebook planning to do with the Oculus Rift?
I don't think that's a good idea, as it might become a problem if guests suddenly started creating too many topics with the account. It makes the 3-posts rule ineffective unless some permanent restrictions are added to it, which IMO isn't worth it.guest wrote:It's _Nightmare_
I created this guest account to allow all non-registered people to post their comments on stuff without having to create their own first. Obviously this will need to be discussed further before I post the password, so what do you guys think?
The 3 posts rule was only implemented to make bots unable to create threads, not people.juanjpro wrote:I don't think that's a good idea, as it might become a problem if guests suddenly started creating too many topics with the account. Yes, but just because we ask them to put a name at the top of their posts, doesn't mean they will. Blocking privileges like those on the account would probably be pointless, as at that point it would probably be better to make an account._Nightmare_ wrote:I never thought of the banned users.
About the confusion issue. We could ask guests to put a name, be it their actual name or a fake one, in the top of their posts.
Also, can't administrators block privileges on accounts such as creating threads, private messaging, etc.?
We had the guest system back on the old forum and it does have it's pretty notable bad sides since you couldn't give penalties or anything to guests. Not a good system imo.guest wrote:It's _Nightmare_
