This could be used cleverly.
This could link to a sub-plot. Where a Scientist is running from you, and he has 689, and as you wonder around the facility, you may see him running, and if you chase him to a Tesla gate or something, he will die and you can pick up 689 as a killer, but 714 is advised. Then you can use it against Mtfs, but something non-canon can happen, like when tentacles appear in 035's room. But after about 10 kills the item will be unusable for time and will go black, and trying to use it will burn you and cause bleeding, but can be used again after 5 mins or 10 mins.
Plus, it means new emoticons!

#64I think that there would have to have no containment chamber for SCP-689, I explain, you would have at the moment, in an empty room (a bottom of bag) at feet of the door to see some blood, with a note to stain with blood who says (DO NOT ENTER HERE)

But the blood idea is kinda unoriginal but cool. Going in there could have some kinda hallway area, no music for atmosphere, with cells with dead bodies in them with papers and documents about 689. Then you hear someone yelling, then when you go around the corner 689 is there. HOWEVER, if you close your eyes or dont look at 689, you can slip past and find a room with some useful stuff in it.
