SCP Containment Breach - Pre-Alpha Restoration

Introduction

Hello! Since I've been working on this for a while I decided to release my (WIP) alpha restoration mod! This is similiar to sean's but I had started development before he had posted his mod and his mod seems to have stopped working.

THE MOD IS CURRENTLY NOT FINISHED, EXPECT ERRORS AND STUFF.


What's so special?
Well, My mod is built on SCPCB 0.1, meaning it's probably going to be as close to authentic as we can get.

I'm also basing my mod as much off pre-release material and hints as to what the game was like in development as possible. For example, the game's internal name is 173project. So I'm replacing "SCP Containment Breach" with 173game etc.

My game crashed/bugs/etc.
See above. 0.1 has alot of bugs. Think of them as enhancing the realism.

How do download?
Download it here.
To run the game, double click 173game.exe

Make blink/stamina the correct colour
Remap door UV (Will make it better soon)


Enjoy the mod, Note it's not done yet, and so will have many inconsistencies and stuff.

Wow... this is just... just... amazing!

It brings back the old feel to SCP: CB and shows how far it has come from a poor Blitz3d game named 173game. Very good mod!

EDIT: The only thing I don't like is that SCP-173 has the old skeleton texture made for SCP-689. If you could change SCP-173 into 689 that would be great :D

Not EVEN close to how the prealpha looked.
But i'll let it slide since you did put effort in to it (slightly).

But really, 173game.exe? i hardly noticed that was the prealpha name for SCP:CB...

Ah, so that's what the texture is. Thanks for clearing that up.

Technically it's not. Looking into the EXE with a special program reveals that regalis keeps the SCPCB code in a folder called 173project, suggesting that before he came up with a name that was used.

Also, keep in mind I can't exactly make it perfect without the scpcb 0.1 source code to add certain things. I'm doing what I can with my limited resources. The mod isn't even half-finished yet.

I'm not a super-pr0 modder but i'm doing the best I can. I think the main problem i'll have is models. If anyone would like to help by recreating some assets of the pre-alpha seen in those videos feel free.

Changelog so far for next version:

Fixed door UV map (sorta, needs work still.)
Reverted 173's texture
