A small post about sound quality.

Without a doubt, what makes this game so special is the sound effects, for me at least. They are surely a work of art. Certain sounds however sound quite muffled, in particular the guards' lines in the intro. This can easily be fixed by simply applying a high pass filter to remove the unneeded lower bass levels. I think this should also be kept in mind for any future sound effects, vocals in particular, because otherwise it can really become a sludgy sounding mess.

Huh... well in that case I can understand why you did it, however to me it still just sounds like someone recorded those lines on a completely different mic to everything else, and a poorer one at that. I know that SCPCB isn't exactly the most consistent game, but this is easily avoidable, and with all the other fantastic sounds it sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm certain that there are other effects out there that can achieve exactly what you are looking for, that are more about changing the sound quality rather than the levels .
