DooM style ending.

I've seen the DooM 2 and DooM 64 ending, and I thought that the idea of showing you all that you have seen at the end to remind you of all those strong things you've demolished is a great way to end a game. More preffered by me, the DooM 64 ending.

So it shows all your enemies lie that. So I imagined that an ending like that for SCP-Cb would be good. BUT different.

OK so here it is: it shows the endscreen background and plays a music track. at the bottom of the screen, it says: E to end, N to next.

Then it shows each SCP that you have seen. In order, so obviously 173 first. When they appear they fade into the center of the screen, using they're moving animation, and text below them says they're name. This also counts for the 2 D-Classes, the Scientists, Janitor, guards, ect. When you press N, the next SCP or character fades in as the previous fades out. As each SCP fades in, they make they're spawning noise, seeing player noise, and every 5 seconds they use they're attack animation. Any SCPs that have not been found in that save will be a black silhouette of themselves, and ??? underneath them instead of a name. When all entities are showcased, it will show an outline of a D-Class model, and underneath says: D-9341. Then around it it shows all the items yo collected.

All this happens after the Achievements screen. Ones like SCP-173 would stay still and only make the neck-snap noise. 513 of course wouldn't attack, just flicker, and the humans (not MTFs or GUARDS) would just walk.

The SCP Foundation is a series of tales based on anomalous objects, known as SCP's, that have a certain danger to the world. In SCP:CB, you're the guinea pig D-Class, and you must escape the facility. No weapons, no power ups, just SCP's and other things.

DooM is a franchise of games where aliens and demons attack, and you shoot them up. You are a guy with a fuckton of weapons.

Please, tell me where the fuck do you see a connection?

In other words: SCP:CB is not going to be like other games. It's completely fine the way it is: unique in gameplay and style. It does not need to be an alien invasion.

To be honest Glaze, I don't really see the connection between your post and Sean's post at all. He didn't mention making it an alien shooting FPS or anything, all he suggested was making a sort of credits showing off all the SCPs you encountered (or didn't) in your trip. I think it's actually a neat idea, it'll help players become familiar with all of the entities, also kind of reminds me of the SMW ending. Then again, I am really itching to see a credits scene that could be potentially interactive. Or just a credits sequence in general.
It slep time bunner.

Sorry bout the little rant, recently he's just been making several DooM related suggestions, and it kind of had to stop.

I guess I just assumed due to the "doom" name... Or I didn't read it well. :C

Thinking about it now, maybe using the credits.txt file would make it easier to conserve space, and a little easier for modding.
