Maybe have it where the player character was falsely accused of something serious, resulting in his position as a D-Class. Making an ending where he 'escapes' or survives more acceptable than having a true criminal that was on death row surviving. I wouldn't know how it would be expressed that he was actually innocent in-game though.

Thanks for bumping this up, I would've nearly forgot to post in here. I think the less you hear about D-9341, the better, because it's easier to associate with someone you hardly know about their past rather than one that isn't at all close to one you would experience. I think the 'wrongly accused' story could be interesting though, I don't exactly know, as you said, how it could be proven it wasn't you.

But my main idea here is a bit more of a extension on a current plot-line: 079. It appears somewhere between an antagonist and a acquaintance in this story, it seems vaguely out of character to me, because he is so simply underused. His intentions aren't very clear, it can be argued that he just needs your help, but I feel he most definitely has ulterior motives and shouldn't be trusted entirely. He just asks for you to turn the remote door control back on... and you do and he opens Gate B. The end.

I feel he should make some other appearance though. Possibly in the ending, maybe just randomly scripted sequence.

I think for a scripted sequence, a randomly playing glitch-like sound emitted over the PA by 079 accompanied with the doors around the player opening and closing suddenly. I feel it'd be rather ominous and possibly disturbing, taking after GlaDOS in the first Portal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruT7N1LRaBA
It slep time bunner.

I just noticed that the footsteps on the metal from SCP:CB sounds like those from Portal.

People have been over this, D-9341 is not to be personified. He's anonymous, no voice aside from screams, or backgrounds.
I am officially SCP-426. I am a toaster, and people refer to me in first person. This memetic quality is one of my best traits!

I see.

Something DjSaturn in the "general suggestions" thread said something about SCP-131 "eye pods" that seems like a great idea (IMO).

Here is the idea that came into my head when reading the wiki:

A cut-scene where the "player" find this creatures and then stroking them after he gets a little scare, then 173 comes in slamming the door open and they keep staring at him, while the "player" from the shock looks back and sees 173, backs off and see hes "little friends" helping him out, he proceeds to run away, so then there is the last time you see 173, after a while...

I think it would be a nice addition to the game, since it would kind of leave 173 in cliffhanger, wouldn't it be interesting?

173 can slam doors open. Also, it would be too cliched.
