ok i actually don't have any lag problem but my friend has. everytime he started it the game hangs then the frame drops into 1 fps. but the longer he play the lesser the lag except when there is scripted events like 096 kills a guard or ending. can someone give an advice to reduce the lag

Try getting a better PC. Or an older one, since Blitz3d runs best on older systems.

Well, there are some things I can do to help:

1. Run the game as a Administrator. (It works.)

2. Run the game with compatibility mode. (Preferably, Windows XP: Service Pack 3)

3. Open the "Options.ini" file, find framelimit, and change it to 0.

4. Enable, or disable Bump Mapping.

5. Try it on a older computer.

6. Or, if the other steps didn't work, get a better PC.
