the only thing i dont like about this update is the bfb nerf

i could have been happy if they just added the old stats (accuracy boost and damage drop) and the speed/jump mechanics from the second buff, not this nerf it makes bfb pretty shitty to use :c
WOOMY! *squid glibberish*
my water changed to this form by boiling, extensively used for the generation of mechanical power, for heating purposes, etc.

Yeah, but it was rather under-penalized before. The only downsides were a reduced clip size and the initial speed, not really balancing out the insane speed you get once you hit something. While I could see why the boost decrease on damage could be annoying, one could argue that as a scout, you're not supposed to take damage in the first place, and that the boost from the bfb only helps in achieving this goal. (Although I don't know how the decrease works, it would be crappy if you got half of your boost depleted from 3 damage.) If the competitive update is coming, then that kind of shows that the nerfs and buffs and mechanic changes made were to get everything on a more equal field (you know, balance) in order to have a good competitive setting. Of course that means that more powerful weapons are going to receive more inconvenient nerfs (not to mention that no weapon was supposed to be more powerful than the other in the first place, thus why all but 1 weapon (was 2 before the solemn vow got a slight nerf) were all side-grades with upsides and downsides in comparison to the stock weapons.). Of course, this only the first update towards mass-balancing, so some of the balances are likely to not actually work, so more tweaking from valve should be expected... I think.

... I need to stop righting novels in response to everything. Well anyways, I'm off to not play this game that I spent time and thought into defending it's major game-changing decisions. (Seriously though, valve needs to prepare their servers better for big updates like this. Both a person on my friends list and a streamer, who both liked this update, were having problems with the item server. Not to mention the times the streamer's game crashed.)
